Mincing dandy in shock kiss with another man on Gossip Girl

I’m not a big “Gossip Girl” fan (I am a big Leighton Meester fan, but the two can be mutually exclusive, I assure you). But from what I’ve seen, Ed Westwick’s character Chuck plays some pretty-boy foppish preppie who apparently gets to bang a ridiculous amount of rich-girl ass. It also turns out he may not be all that gender specific in his desires. Oh, heaven forfend! Let the not-at-all manufactured controversy begin:

Westwick’s “romantic” interest is up-and-comer Neal Bledsoe (CSI: NY, Guiding Light), who’s guest-starring in episode 6 as Josh Ellis, NYU’s head of freshman affairs. Since Josh is tasked with selecting an incoming student for the honor of delivering the freshman speech, he’s, shall we say, a person of interest to Blair. In fact, she’s so determined to snag the slot that she goes so far as to pimp out her boyfriend to the gay guy in charge.

I realize that “Gossip Girl” is written for teenagers who aren’t bright enough to keep up with the intricacies of “Twilight,” but c’mon. Is this boy-on-boy snogging still a big deal? Or maybe it’s some crass attempt to exploit the whispers that Westwick himself is gay?

The actor has repeatedly been forced to deny allegations he’s homosexual amid claims he’s secretly dating his TV co-star, Chace Crawford.

But the 21-year-old is adamant his affection for Crawford is only brotherly – and they have bonded over their shared love of women.

He tells Rolling Stone magazine, “It’s funny because I love this f**king dude dearly.

“I would die for this f**king dude. He’s my brother. But, by God, we are so into our f**king women it’s ridiculous.”

Dude. You’re 21, rich and famous. I get it. Girls dig you. Great, enjoy it. But, you know, maybe tone down the overcompensation a bit. St. Peter denied Christ with less gusto, and he was facing crucifixion at the hands of the Romans. You wuss.

Gossip Girl co-stars Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick, whose character on the show we learned earlier today will be exploring his gay side this coming season of GG, are featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of Korean Elle magazine. Here is the couple’s cute coverphoto:

Last week we got a preview of this couple in an Elle magazine photospread but it’s unclear if that photo is from US Elle magazine or this Korean edition. After the jump, check out two photos from this Korean issue which do not look like the preview photo we saw last week and are much less “gothy” …

They sure do make a handsome couple … it’s a shame it cannot be true love for their Gossip Girl characters now that Chuck will be mackin’ on guys, too. Ah well … there’s plenty of love to go around … mebbe they can all share? This is a nice magazine spread, I love these two.

I guess Hilary Duff got herself on Gossip Girl for more than one reason. Yesterday, I said that she was doing it to stay relevant, jumping up on a hot show so people would remember her, but now I think it’s got more to do with her using the show as an opportunity to get her TV crush up in her pussy because I guess now that she’s got all fat and dumpy and her boyfriend and his Hockey Team have slowed down on the stickin’ her ass and pussy while jerking each other off in some sort of team building initiation since it is the off season or some shit has made her desperate and figured she might as well get paid for male attention instead of paying for it and I guess none of that matters but here’s the picture proof anyway, cuz that’s what I do..

Chace answered: 'Yeah. My mom’s here saving my ass, helping me out. She did a little pre-planning on the move, so it went smoothly ... I’m turning 24 in two days, so I think it was about time, you know? I mean, I was a little bit on my own in California but mostly living with fraternity brothers. So initially Ed and I became roommates here in New York

because we didn’t know if the show was going to last or not. Ed had never lived away from home

, let alone in a different country. We got along and figured it would be a smart move financially. And really, it was also just kind of out of laziness.'

LEIGHTON Meester made a scene at Philippe in East Hampton while celebrating a friend's birthday Saturday night. "She was rallying her friends to out-scream the 'Happy Birthday' song of a nearby table of girls," says a diner. "Both tables started screaming obnoxiously back and forth at one another until Leighton finally stood up on the table and started dancing."
